VanLaw Foods was formed by Curtis VanLaw in Pacoima, CA in 1945 as a manufacturer of liquid flavorings, food colors, and beverage bases for local distributors. Much has changed since then, but we’ve always held true to our core mission of creating cost-conscious but innovative products that meet and exceed customer expectations. The key to our continual success is in our company integrity: we strive to develop mutually beneficial relationships with everyone in our working family by treating employees, customers, and suppliers with honesty and respect.
Currently servicing 44 states and 25 countries, VanLaw Foods is one of the largest private label and contract manufacturers in the United States. Our nearly 300,000 square feet of facilities in Southern California produce an ever-widening assortment of custom dressings, sauces, marinades, glazes, beverage bases and more. We currently produce over 600 finished SKUs for retailers and brand owners, and can develop new formulas in industry-leading time. VanLaw Foods is a full-service, nationwide supplier for over 70% of our customers.
PRODUCTS
Our manufacturing systems are designed to create brand-customized, high-quality products with unique flavor profiles that drive repeat traffic at the register. With a database comprising nearly 2,000 base formulas, we can quickly develop new recipes and flavors in response to changing culinary trends so that our customers get their products to market before competitors.
VanLaw Foods is capable of supplying Value, National Brand Equivalent, Organic, Gluten-Free, Vegan and Kosher formulations and certifications for clients catering to consumers with special dietary needs.

VanLaw Foods in-house R&D department is culinary-creative and forward thinking, consistently searching for new trends, services, and markets to target. Whether creating a proprietary recipe or duplicating/modifying an existing one, our culinary-trained chefs work with the R&D team to ensure flavor profiles are brand-consistent and unique within market segments.
CAPABILITIES
Our SQF Certified facilities have manufacturing capacity that exceeds 240 million units annually across seven production lines with fill rates of up to 240 bottles per minute. Batch sizes range from 250-1500 gallons with standard operational capacity of 70% or less, giving us the flexibility to fulfill unplanned volume or rush orders without a reduction in service to other customers.

PACKAGING
VanLaw Foods has 153 packaging solutions in a wide variety of materials, ranging in size from 8oz pouches to 220 gallon drums. Plus, we offer labeling options that work with any brand so that consumer-facing products look as good as they taste.
